This year marks the 35th anniversary of Interferry, which began life as the International Marine Transit Association and was registered in the State of New York. We’re planning some special events to mark this anniversary and celebrate the people who have contributed to building our association.

Sponsorship Notes:
Environmental Footprint
Interferry is trying to minimize the environmental footprint of the conference by reducing the amount of waste paper. This is produced mainly from the inserts into the delegate bags and the exhibition booths. We ask each sponsor to take responsibility for their left over material by taking it with them after the conference or shipping it back to their office. For material that cannot be re-used Interferry will provide collection facilities for recycling.

We recommend that sponsors limit their contribution to the delegate bag - instead of another brochure, perhaps a small gift – or put your brochure on a memory stick or CD.

Exhibition Space
For the past few years the Interferry exhibition has included fixed-wall exhibition stands or space separated by portable dividers. In Istanbul we have decided to try an open concept for the exhibition area. Each exhibitor will be allocated a space approximately 3 metres by 2 metres with a table and chairs. It will be necessary to have self-supporting signage (which can be supplied by Interferry for a fee).
